Takeout and frozen meals will be a thing of the past after this hands-on cooking class with Chef Sung. Under her expert guidance, you'll master the art of making authentic Korean dumplings completely from scratch.

To start, you'll learn how to make dumpling wrappers using a simple mixture of flour, water and salt. Then, Chef Sung will teach everyone how to expertly fold artful dumplings using several traditional methods. You'll create two savory fillings and a tantalizing dipping sauce for the side. Dumplings will be on your home-cooking menus for years to come!

Cooking classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase alcoholic beverages from the venue to enjoy during the class.

My husband and I had a great time, it was a full class, so we sat with another couple, but it was fun to chat it up. She gave easy tips to follow and all the supplies were organized and divided. I'm excited to try sushi at home!

Chef Sung’s sushi making class was awesome! She’s a great instructor and has a great love for cooking. She’s personable, fun and keeps you engaged the entire class. This was a great experience for my husband and I. We are now officially sushi makers 🙂.

Chef Sung was fun, and energetic. She handled the noise coming into our private room well, and kept us engaged, equalling a fun date night! Great ingredients, and nice to learn how to make sushi in a super comfortable environment.

Chef Sung was great! She explained the ingredients and gave individual pointers on how to make the best roll. The venue was loud and was hard to hear her initilly even with a microphone.

Instructor was great. Logistics were bad.. Class was held within a brewery. The music was loud which made it hard to hear the instructor. The class set-up was not conducive to the instruction. She had us all come to the front of the room to watch the demo. then go back to our tables (some bar level, most not) to prepare our dish. Suggestions: Portable audio for situations like this. U-shape seating with instructor in the middle so participants can work along demo, not watch then go back and do. Classes somewhere with sink in room to wash hands while preparing food.

Sung, you are the best teacher. I love everything about the presentation, the history and background of the food and its origins, tasting new things, the visual -- you make it all sound so simple and look so gorgeous! It really is an artistic practice, I can see that.

Sung Uni Lee is an amazing cooking teacher! I knew my first lesson would be good, but it turned out to be 10 times better than I thought it would. I don't really like to cook, but need to learn so I can take better care of my health. Sung taught me, in a short amount of time, how to make 5 easy, quick, and healthy veggie dishes, including a soup and a salad. I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn!

I absolutely loved learning from your wise and loving experiences. I love how you bring such love to your teachings. I can easily see all the reasons food preparation and sharing as Spiritual practice is so grounding. There is no more direct path that binds us to the earth than the foods we grow, prepare, and share with each other.
