Embrace your inner sushi chef in this engaging cooking class guided by Chef Nate. You'll learn how to create artful sushi rolls using traditional techniques while Chef Nate teaches you three different recipes spanning from California to Philadelphia. In this class, you will get to improve your knife skills as you work with fresh fish, vegetables and sushi rolls.
You will start with a sushi favorite, the California roll. Layer crunchy cucumbers, avocado and flavorful surimi over sushi rice and nori. Next, excite your taste buds with fresh and spicy ahi tuna. Lastly, head to the East Coast and make a Philadelphia roll, which features a cream cheese base for avocado and cucumbers. You'll use an authentic sushi mat to roll each sushi then artfully present your gourmet creations.
All cooking classes are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase alcoholic beverages from the venue to enjoy during the class.
