Cooking Class: Make Street Tacos Like a Native

Get a taste of authentic Mexican street food in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Keith. A seasoned culinary expert, Chef Keith will teach you all about sourcing fresh ingredients and the robust flavor profiles native to this region. You will get to practice your knife skills as you dice onions and chop cabbage and cilantro.


In this fun class, you'll get to make classic savory carne asada tacos with tender flank steak, onion, cilantro and lime. You'll also prepare mouthwatering fish tacos as you learn to perfectly cook juicy, flaky whitefish. After mastering these recipes, you'll be able to have taco Tuesday any day of the week!


Cooking classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.

Street Tacos - what a fun class! I learned some new techniques, where to purchase special ingredients and met some new neighbors! I really enjoyed myself and am so glad I attended this class at Skye Canyon Community Center.
