The Black Luxe Candle Co. candle making class is an absolute must for anyone who loves creativity, good energy, and a little bit of luxury. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, welcoming, and super chic — the perfect backdrop for learning the art of candle making. The instructor broke everything down in a way that was easy to understand, even for beginners. They guided us through scent blending and tips for creating candles that actually last and smell amazing when you burn them. Plus, you get to customize your own scent, so you leave with a candle that feels personal and totally you. The experience was super down-to-earth — like hanging out with friends while picking up a new skill. Whether you’re doing it solo, with a partner, or as a group activity, this class is honestly the perfect way to spend a few hours. I walked away with a beautiful candle and a new favorite hobby! Already planning to come back for another session. Highly recommend!

This is was my first candle - making class and I was able to allow and explore my creative ideas in this workshop! I came with my best friend and she is a beginner & still was able to keep the pace. The studio was very welcoming and location was perfect. I can't wait for the next class at The Avenue Chicago.

WOW!!! Talk about a great experience. If you are looking for something different and authentic this is the place to go. From the welcoming and very attending staff to the creative vibes and great music you can't go wrong. I attended a private b-day party last week and we had a blast. It's BYOB and anything else you need to get creative and have a good time is provided. I highly recommend this place for private parties, if you are looking to explore your creative mind, or looking for a mature open space to be creative and network. I'll be back soon!!
