Let your kid tap into their inner Italian chef in this hands-on, family-friendly cooking class.
Your child will learn the classic way to make pasta dough by mixing flour, eggs and olive oil, then get hands-on kneading, rolling and cutting the dough into wide pappardelle noodles. While the pasta cooks, you’ll watch them practice safe knife skills as they chop celery, carrots and onions before sautéing the vegetables. From there, pork and beef are added to build a comforting sauce, followed by tomato paste and crushed tomatoes to bring everything together. To finish, the pasta is tossed with the bolognese and topped with Parmesan cheese. You’ll wrap up the class by enjoying the meal together and head home with a recipe your child will be excited to make again for the whole family.
Each child must be accompanied by an adult throughout the class. Adults may purchase a ticket to join their child if they wish. Single tickets are available for children only.
