Cooking Class: Sushi Making for Little Chefs
Kids will slice, roll and create colorful sushi rolls in this hands-on cooking class!
Turn your kid’s curiosity into creativity with this sushi-making adventure led by Chef Jordan. Young chefs will dive into the art of sushi as they season rice to perfection and practice safe, beginner-friendly knife skills to chop cucumber, avocado and fruit. Then, they’ll roll up their sleeves to layer, roll and decorate their sushi like true pros. Chef Jordan will show them how to craft beautiful maki and hand rolls and add playful touches with sesame seeds and creative garnishes. The class wraps up with a sweet treat prepared by Chef Jordan. It’s a delicious way to spark confidence, creativity and a lifelong love for food!

My boyfriend and I had an incredible experience with Chef Jordan’s cooking class! From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us into his home and made us feel so comfortable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the class itself was both fun and educational. The food we prepared was absolutely delicious, and we were thrilled to bring home extras to enjoy later. We can’t wait to incorporate everything we learned into our future meals. This was such a special and memorable gift—highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique culinary experience!

Chef Jordan is very personable and easy-going. The flavors were good. We had him travel to our home for a family event. Ingredients were simple but good. Don't expect to learn new ways of cooking with shiitake, maitake, Trumpet or any other type of mushroom other than cremini and portobello. While very basic, the flavors were good and the average person will be able to replicate rather easily later. We'd likely have him back for a catering event.
