Cooking Class: Craft Chinese Favorites
Recreate your favorite Chinese dishes in this hands-on cooking class led by a local chef.
The class begins by making a filling with ground pork, ginger and garlic for dumplings. Then, learn the time-honored technique to fold and pleat the dumplings before steaming them until tender. Prepare a sesame oil soy sauce to enjoy on the side. Next, make crispy fried chicken pieces tossed in a sweet and spicy General Tso's sauce to enjoy as the main course. Finish the class by stir-frying jasmine rice with scrambled eggs, peas, carrots and onions to make savory fried rice.
