Cooking Class: Vegetarian Indian Cooking

Make authentic North Indian vegetarian dishes in this cooking class with Chef Rajeswari.

This hands-on class focuses on traditional recipes that use simple ingredients and classic spice combinations to create delicious, meat-free meals. The class starts with aloo mattar sabzi, a comforting potato and green pea curry simmered with warm spices. Next, you’ll cook a rich and creamy paneer butter masala that’s always a crowd favorite. Chef Rajeswari will also teach you how to make soft, homemade roti from scratch, after which you’ll whip up a rose lassi, a lightly sweet and floral yogurt drink that’s as refreshing as it is beautiful. Whether you're new to Indian cooking or looking to expand your vegetarian recipe collection, this class is a flavorful way to learn and enjoy. Book your spot now.

I had such an amazing time at this class. Chef Rajeswari made us feel comfortable, and was an amazing teacher and host. She offered the perfect combo of hands on assistance and freedom for us to try it on our own. I left the class feeling more confident in my ability to create this meal at home. The food was so good I’m looking forward to trying it on my own.

I did the South Indian cooking class with Chef Raaje. We learned how to make 4 dishes total and I had so much fun! Even though I normally don't cook much, Chef Raaje made me feel very at ease the entire time and was very attentive. Apart from the recipes, Chef Raaje was also very helpful and shared a lot of cooking tips and knowledge throughout the class. I would definitely recommend this class to anybody, whether you are a seasoned cook or just someone who wants to try something new and different!
