These canoe-shaped savory pastries are a Puerto Rican favorite that are sure to find a place on your kitchen table. You'll work with sliced plantains, a staple of the region's menu, and prepare an enticing blend of beef and cheese to fill them with. The result is similar to a taco, but with a natural plant-based shell that adds subtle flavor and intriguing texture to the finished dish.

Great class. Fun and interactive experience. We learned some foundational concepts, like the basis of most Latin seasoning (adobo, pepper, garlic, and sazón). Can’t wait to reach out to Ashley for additional cooking/catering services.

The food was amazing! Everyone loved it. The food was perfectly prepared, hot and tasted great. We will definitely be using her again.

The food was amazing and the presentation was to die for. The food had the perfect amount of flavor and it wasn't over seasoned. The meat she cook for us was so tender and mouth watering. The side dishes to accommodate the meat was perfectly prepared. The desserts that we select was so properly portioned out, beautifully designed and so satisfying to our palate.

Flavors were spot on, Great demonstrator. I’ve learned how she makes her whole chicken on the stove, Its quick and easy and taste flavorful. Chef Ashley puts her own flare in all her meals.
