Discover that creating fresh sushi right at home can be a breeze in this fun cooking class with Chef Derrick. In this hands-on lesson, you'll get to create two classic rolls from scratch while Chef Derrick teaches you valuable culinary skills. You'll learn to make the perfect sushi rice before expertly slicing and layering ingredients for a California roll and a vegetable roll. Dig in and take your new know-how home with you!
Cooking classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase alcoholic beverages from the venue to enjoy during the class.

Class was in tables in the patio of a brewery. I think this took away from the experience for me and wished it was held inside or a better location with an actual room, perhaps a kitchen. The rain didn’t help either because it was cold. It was hard to see at times what he was doing when he was cutting or preparing the ingredients because of bags and other materials near his cutting board. Overall, I think it just needed a better set up.
