Cooking Class: Gourmet Italian Selections

There's more to an Italian dinner than spaghetti and meatballs, and Chef Vanessa is eager to tell you about it in this cooking class. You'll learn how to lift your selections into the realm of gourmet with just a few imaginative new recipes!


You'll start by preparing parmesan risotto cakes using Arborio rice, cannellini beans and tangy lemon zest, before creating a stunning entrée of linguine and sun-dried tomato pesto, topped with shrimp sautéed to perfection. And for a light and delicate continental dessert, create a plateful of classic pizzelle cookies.

I had the pleasure of doing two cooking classes with Chef Vanessa. They were so much fun, such a great personality and the menu was amazing. I have made them a couple of times and everyone loved it. Crab cakes with the yogurt Remoulade were amazing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Chef Vanessa is a classically-trained chef who left her corporate accounting career to follow her passion for cooking. Since beginning her new career as a chef instructor, she has assumed many roles teaching inner-city teens, parents, seniors and cafeteria staff across Massachusetts healthy cooking on a budget. Chef Vanessa recently launched her own walking food tour business in Worcester and can also be found hosting cooking classes at the Boston Public Market.
