Art Class: Family-Friendly Clay Bird Art
Create a charming bird sculpture together using colorful polymer clay in this art class.
In this fun adult-and-child art class, you’ll work side by side to sculpt a unique polymer clay bird full of personality and character. Together, you’ll shape the body, add textured feathers, define wings and beaks and personalize your bird with colors and details that make it truly your own. Sweet, whimsical or totally imaginative, every bird is welcome here. Once finished, you’ll take your sculpture home to bake it in your own oven, turning it into a lasting keepsake you’ll be proud to display.
Important note: This class uses polymer clay, not ceramic clay. Polymer clay is a pre-colored, oven-baked clay that does not require a kiln and is ideal for detailed, beginner-friendly projects. This is an adult-and-child class sold as a set of two. One ticket includes one adult and one child creating one shared bird sculpture together.

Instructor Layl began creating things at a young age and sought out to try mediums and art of all kinds, from oil painting to collage, sculpture and everything in between. She eventually fell in love with storytelling through her favorite medium, polymer clay. She and her husband opened their showroom and art studio where they get to live out their artistic dreams every day, and Instructor Layl is eager to share her creative passion with students.
