Team Building Activity: Sushi-Making Showdown

In this fun team building activity, you'll dive into the authentic techniques of sushi-making. Your group will explore all of the steps of making a sushi spread, from ingredient selection to artful presentation. They'll even engage in an exciting Iron Chef-style competition!


First, Chef Legina will demonstrate how to make the perfect sushi rice. Then, everyone will learn to fill sheets of nori with fresh and colorful ingredients like sweet mango and zesty sriracha. You'll learn to make two classic rolls — a classic California roll and a crunchy shrimp tempura roll. Then, everyone will get creative as they use various ingredients to create their own unique sushi rolls. The best-looking, best-tasting, most unique roll will be crowned the winner!

Cooking classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.
