Chef Jose taught me how to make an appetizer dish of stuffed dates wrapped in bacon. He clearly and slowly demonstrated how to properly cut the date and remove the pit. He then stuffed it with goat cheese. He used thick cut bacon to wrap around the stuffed date and baked them off. Chef Jose has an extremely friendly demeanor which made me feel so welcome.

He strives to create stellar culinary experiences for every guest, student and aspiring chef who he serves or teaches. Chef Jose’s motto: “Life is too short to eat badly.”
