Team Building Activity: Cooking Southern Homestyle Favorites
Bring everyone down South for some homestyle comfort food in this hands-on team building activity. Chef Jimi will guide your team in creating an array of authentic Southern favorites using a variety of culinary traditions that started in Southern kitchens.
To start, everyone will work together to create a restaurant-worthy crispy red snapper croquette with a creamy remoulade. Next, they’ll learn how to prepare sweet and savory honey butter fried chicken with creamy Parmesan grits on the side. This class will end on a super sweet note with heavenly buttermilk apple fritters smothered in a cinnamon icing. Enjoy learning new skills together, using culinary creativity and enjoying a hearty meal as you all bond outside of the office!
