Team Building Activity: Epic Sushi Battle

Join Chef Cregg for an evening filled with sushi, culinary competition and lots of teamwork in this fun team building activity. First, Chef Cregg will guide you and your team through the traditional processes and techniques behind creating authentic sushi. Then, you'll divide into small teams and face off in an epic sushi battle to see who can serve up the best rolls the fastest. Before the competition begins, each team will fill and roll some vegetable sushi rolls to get their creative juices flowing. After warming up, the teams will compete with two different types of sushi: hand rolls and musubi. You'll be able to create rolls with all your favorite ingredients, choosing from a selection of popular fillings, such as spicy tuna, avocado or chicken katsu. Win or lose, you'll all celebrate your new sushi skills together and enjoy seasonal Japanese sweet treats for some post-competition dessert.

Fantastic evening with Chef Cregg. Can't emphasize enough the extent to which our class exceeded expectations. First of all, he's an absolute pleasure, and took far more time than he needed to actually teaching, rather than just "cooking and talking." He tailored it expertly to our level, and is clearly passionate about food. It was hands-on from beginning to end, and I picked up several tips and techniques that I'll use in my cooking.
