Michelle was easy going, helpful, and engaging to allow enough instruction to get started and enough freedom to start and make mistakes to learn. We enjoyed the date very much. It was a perfect chance to be phone-free and focused on making pottery and leave the stresses of the world elsewhere. Would recommend and would do again.

I enjoyed trying the clay wheel for the first time! I knew it would be difficult and require practice, so I signed up for the challenge seeing it as a fun, new experience and process to learn despite the results. I hadn’t thought about having nails making it a bit more difficult tho. 🙂 If you go as a group, just know the ask is for everyone to agree to do the same thing (either the wheel or hand building) for demonstration and time purposes. Don’t be afraid to ask for help or guidance with applying what you’re learning or other questions of interest. Be softer on yourself than you are on the clay. 😉

Best pottery experience I’ve ever had! I booked a private couple lesson with Michelle and she was so amazing and informative and had so much patience for us beginners(: definitely going to book another class very soon, if I could rate this more stars I would, 10 out of 10 recommend !
