Photography Class: Composition in the Field - San Pedro Point Fermin Lighthouse & Korean Bell
Join a fun photography class at Point Fermin Lighthouse and Korean Bell of Friendship that transforms snapshots into scroll-stopping images.
You’ll use the rule of thirds to frame the lighthouse, guide the viewer’s eye with pathways and railings and layer foreground, midground and background for depth. The instructor also covers symmetry, natural framing and finding unique angles that make familiar landmarks feel fresh. It’s less about rigid rules and more about training your eye. Expect movement, experimentation and quick wins. By the end, your photos feel intentional, balanced and far more share-worthy than anything shot on auto.

Very nice group of people and made sure every detail was planned out thoroughly. Ron, who was our photographer instructor, was very good as laying out how our camera works. Very nice introduction.

Christine was excellent in giving m important information about how to set my aperture, shutter speed and how to look at the subjects in order to get interesting photos. I highly recommend this experience!
