Photography Class: Master Your Camera Controls - Seattle Center
Learn camera controls and street photography skills while shooting real-life scenes in Seattle Center.
In this lively photography class, you’ll learn how to use both basic and advanced camera controls such as shutter speed, f-stop, focus, zoom and more to create professional-quality images. The class takes place at Seattle Center, a vibrant cultural, arts and entertainment hub filled with events, concerts, public artwork and striking architecture. Most notably, it’s home to the iconic Space Needle. This dynamic setting makes it an ideal location to practice street photography while working around real crowds in a bustling environment. Students are welcome to bring any camera model and all experience levels are encouraged to join. Led by a professional photographer, you’ll learn how to use zoom and the exposure triangle: ISO, aperture and shutter speed to create focus, frame compelling shots and photograph your subject with intention. Meet fellow creatives, build confidence behind the camera and gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting.
