Photography Class: Composition in the Field - Dickson Azalea Park
Learn composition skills in this photography class in Orlando’s Dickson Azalea Park!
Beneath towering oak trees and along winding pathways, an experienced photographer will teach you how to frame compelling images using natural lines, textures and contrasts found throughout the park. Educational lectures highlight techniques like rule of thirds, balance and perspective, while hands-on practice encourages you to experiment with shadows, reflections and depth among the stone bridges and flowing creek of Dickson Azalea Park.
Every corner of this urban oasis offers a new way to tell a visual story, from capturing the serenity of hanging moss to the drama of sunlight piercing the canopy. With playful, engaging instruction and plenty of hands-on practice, you’ll leave with a sharper eye, new skills and a gallery of images that celebrate creativity and nature.

Very nice group of people and made sure every detail was planned out thoroughly. Ron, who was our photographer instructor, was very good as laying out how our camera works. Very nice introduction.
