Painting Class: A World of Happy Accidents
Many creatives know and love Bob Ross for his artistic skills and bubbly personality, inspiring thousands to pick up a paintbrush to put color on a canvas, which is exactly what you will be doing in this interactive painting class. If you’ve come across Ross’ beloved instructional program, the Joy of Painting, then you know the American artist believed that anyone could learn how to create something magical regardless of previous experience. All it takes is a can-do attitude. After enjoying a brief introduction at the start of class, art instructor Miranda will take you on a guided journey through a Bob Ross style acrylic painting. You will learn a variety of techniques from color mixing to blending acrylic paint and you'll even leave the class with a new addition to your home decor. If during the class you need to take a break to use the restroom or stretch your legs, don't worry, there will be plenty of opportunities to step away from the canvas without missing a beat.

My sister and I had an amazing time with Miranda! She was patient, gave easy instructions to follow, pleasant conversations, great Spotify playlist and is so extremely talented! The location was so beautiful and on a perfect day! We had a great time!

Instructor Miranda is an independent artist who resides in San Diego. She want to unleash people's creativity in the community through art classes. One of Instructor Miranda's skills is that she is able to adapt to current situations, for example she hosted small, outdoor classes to bring the community together safely during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Instructor Miranda also hosts paint classes at bars and private parties for special occasions alongside her famous and fun outdoor classes.
