Chef Jose was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire process fun and engaging. We went to a market which was a lot of fun and a learning experience. He provided clear step-by-step instructions, and made it fun for everyone! The ingredients were fresh, and the kitchen was well-equipped. (Only thing I would suggest is adding a better tortilla maker). I loved how interactive the class was—everyone got to participate, and we were able to ask questions and learn new techniques. By the end, I walked away with new skills, delicious recipes, and a renewed love for cooking. Highly recommend this class to anyone looking to improve their culinary skills to learn to make enchiladas, tacos and fresh salsa!

It was an amazing experience - from buying grocery from the local market to preparing & cooking the dishes. The food turned out to be amazing. It was a great team event and I would highly recommend everyone to try it!

Chef Lorena easily invites everyone into her passion for cooking. She’s a consummate teacher, flawlessly inviting each to be part of the process. We were excited about this class, but it exceeded our expectations magnificently. We’re more knowledgeable and appreciative of the culture, the cuisine and the skills to celebrate it.

Sophia and Alberto greeted us at the door of the townhouse where we had our cooking lesson, and immediately made us feel welcome. We toured the market where they had bought our produce earlier that day, and showed us all the grocery vendors and the little food stalls. Then we walked back to the townhouse and made tortillas, salsa, tacos, and guacamole. They were fantastic hosts and teachers, and we had a great time. They made us feel so at home, instead of a class the experience felt like having dinner at home with your fun friends.
