Cooking Class: Roll the Perfect Sushi
Learn sushi-making fundamentals from a professional chef in this cooking class focused on techniques and skills.
Working alongside Chef Luke, you will first prepare sushi rice that lay the foundation for three sushi rolls you'll make completely from scratch: a Philadelphia roll, featuring salmon and avocado, a tuna roll laden with spice, and kewpie mayonnaise, and a vegetarian roll with avocado, and crunchy cucumber and asparagus. Each roll is accompanied by authentic soy sauce, spicy wasabi and pickled ginger.

overall, the event was fun. However, the location was loud and it was hard to see and hear instruction.

I loved watching the chef do things first. Also I loved having written instructions. I just didn't like how many people were there because then I felt the chef was stretched thin among the guests.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our time with Chef Luke, who was very talented and clearly knew his way around the kitchen. He taught us everything we needed to know to make complex recipes, which gave us the confidence to try to recreate the meal back home. Chef Luke patiently answered all of our questions, but what made the night truly one to remember was all of the stories he shared. He's so to talk with and makes people feel very comfortable. Would take another class with him again without a doubt! :)
