Cooking Class: North Indian Culinary Creations

Take an adventure to the culinary landscape of northern India with this cooking class. You'll learn how to combine herbs, spices and local ingredients to create the distinctive flavors of this diverse region. Chef Pravy begins by teaching you how to make lentil soup and a samosa puff pastry filled with potatoes, peas and Indian spices. Your main dish is a creamy butter chicken served with basmati rice and homemade chapati. Dessert is rice pudding accented with sugar and cardamom.

We had a wonderful time and I felt we really learned the process. My husband purposely ate onions for the first time in 30 years and he still like the food!!! Both chef and her husband were very welcoming!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Chef Pravy. She was well prepared, very knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning about the history of the Indian cuisine. Looking forward to receiving the recipes to try our hand at the delicious dishes at home.
