I attended a tea meditation at the Q Center with D’Guar recently. It was an intimate setting. What I loved about D’Guar’s facilitation style is that they explained everything they were doing and talked about the history of tea (particularly in China). They created an extremely calm and peaceful environment while also creating space for people to experiment with showing up in ways that felt most comfortable. I really enjoyed the tranquility. I enjoyed the tea. I enjoyed the discussion and community D’Guar facilitated after the session ended. D’Guar isn’t pretentious, which is so refreshing. They have a humble humility and love that radiates from them. They are contemplative and foster thought while also allowing playfulness. As a queer person I really appreciated D’Guar’s attentiveness and care. I would recommend attending a tea meditation or classes with D’Guar. You will feel rejuvenated!

DGuar lead such an intimate and impactful tea ceremony for myself and a close group of friends. Not only were they incredibly knowledgeable about the delicious blends they created for us, but they made the whole experience magical and ethereal. It's a night we'll talk about forever!

Do you ever leave an event and say to yourself ... man, what a lovely evening! It was a transformative evening. All are welcome. I was not shamed for my lack of tea knowledge. Just simply wonderful. Do yourself a favor, book this class, and enjoy the learning.

D'Guar is so knowledgeable, welcoming and approachable for tea related questions. I've had the pleasure of taking two workshops so far, and they've been delightful experiences. I've taken different friends along for the ride and they've all said the same thing: the workshops are so fun, yet informative!
I recommend their class to anyone who is interested in tea and the joys surrounding it. The workshops are interactive but only as much as you'd like to contribute, so it's no pressure. I'll be taking more of their workshops in the future and I hope you do too!

Forever in love with your tea classes! Your knowledge of tea is incredible, and your presence makes every session feel magical. I always learn something new and leave feeling more grounded and inspired. Absolutely spectacular classes!
