Cooking Class: Make a Modernized Japanese Menu

Bring the best of modern Japanese cooking to your home table with this in-person cooking class from Chef Mary. You'll learn a variety of techniques to prepare thoughtful creations that make dinner a gourmet occasion. 


Begin with Asian-style street corn salad and prepare sushi tacos, an inventive fusion featuring seasoned sushi rice and homemade wonton shells stuffed with a mix of salmon, tuna and crab. You'll also create crispy shrimp tempura, fresh avocado rolls and an array of sauces perfect for dipping them in. Finish your lesson with a unique dessert with fried ice cream topped with honey caramel butter.

Sushi Tacos

With salmon, spicy tuna, crab mix, homemade wonton shells, seasoned sushi rice and seasonal vegetables


Shrimp Tempura

Includes spicy mayonnaise, sweet soy glaze, ponzu sauce and mango


Fried Vanilla Ice Cream and Honey Caramel Butter

With pound cake, panko bread crumbs, cinnamon sugar, seasonal fruit and whipped cream
