Cooking Class: Exploring Indian Flavor Fusions

Explore a whole new side of authentic Indian cuisine in this in-person cooking class with Chef Rachel. She'll shake up the flavors you already know and love with some non-traditional recipes for familiar dishes. 

Begin your lesson by crafting khaman dhokla, a savory cake made from chickpea flour and flavored with warm spices and lemon. Then, explore the incredible flavor fusion in tender chicken and banana curry, which is served with a side of creamy, tangy coconut lime rice. And for dessert, whip up barfi, a traditional fudge made with milk and flavored with the delicate floral notes of rose syrup.

Rachel was very helpful and the meal was genuinely delicious. I feel confident that I could recreate it now on my own. If you have allergies let her know so you can plan together to avoid them in your meal. She was very sweet with our dog and made due with our minimal tools and experience. We would definitely work with her again!
