Cooking Class: Harvest Health With Vegan Recipes

In this hands-on cooking class, you'll learn how easy it is to prepare a raw organic, vegan four-course meal that's bursting with flavor and nutrition. Heating food can destroy beneficial nutrients, which is why it's worth adding these extremely healthy uncooked dishes into your recipe repertoire. Start by enjoying a raw gazpacho made from tomatoes, avocado and basil. Then, you'll assemble fresh cucumber rolls filled with homemade vegan cashew cheese. Up next, for your entrée, you'll learn how to make vegan pad Thai featuring zucchini, lime, lemongrass and a creamy homemade peanut sauce. Finally, you'll end with a sweet and healthy dessert: raw chocolate ice cream topped with fresh berries.

Chef Peggy was very nice, but this wasn’t a hands on cooking class. Very disappointed as the ramen was already made. Would not recommend the ramen class if you’re looking for a hands on class.

This is a review of the ramen class, not the chef. Chef Peggy is fantastic, but the ramen cooking class is NOT a cooking class. We were disappointed as it wasn’t what we expected. We arrived to a large group of people and did not actually get to cook or create anything. We sat around, listening to interesting history and knowledge about the dish and chefs. Then we got up to get our food and ate. The ramen broth was truly delicious and exceptional, but it wasn’t the experience we thought we would have. This was not hands on. Another side note, for how healthy the food was and made with such care I was surprised it was served in styrofoam bowls which leech chemicals into your food. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a hands on cooking class.
