Begin the class with a crispy crostini topped with sweet caramelized onions and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. Then, make gnocchi from scratch with potatoes and master the technique to knead and shape them. Whip up a creamy lemon and Parmesan cheese sauce to pair with it. You'll also make fresh pasta with flour and eggs to pair with an Italian sausage, cherry tomato and spinach sauce. The class was very informal and contained a lot of information. Chef Sarah did an excellent job providing back stories and the what and why behind what we were doing. We learned how to make pasta from scratch and pitfalls to avoid. I would definitely take another class from Chef Sarah.
