Cooking Class: Craft Cavatelli From Scratch With Chef Jason
Cook like you’re in Nonna’s kitchen in this hands-on pasta making class with Chef Jason.
You’ll start by mixing a simple cavatelli dough using semolina flour, water and olive oil, then learn the classic kneading techniques that bring it all together. Chef Jason will guide you step by step as you shape the dough into cavatelli, creating those signature ridges that help every piece hold onto sauce. While the pasta cooks, you’ll prepare a tomato sauce with freshly crushed tomatoes, garlic and basil. Toss everything together, add a sprinkle of Parmesan or Romano and sit down to enjoy a homemade Italian dish you made entirely by hand. Book your cooking class!

The chef was an excellent instructor with both personality and talent. Our experience was disrupted by the other patrons who were so involved in their personal conversation that it drowned out the instructional part of the class.
