Start with a simple miso edamame salad tossed with ginger and rice vinegar. Then make stir-fried udon noodles with green onions, carrot, celery and cabbage. After that, get into sushi rolling as you layer rice, tuna and shrimp on nori to make a spicy tuna roll and a classic shrimp roll. You’ll also learn proper rolling technique for clean, tight sushi every time. For dessert, finish with homemade matcha ice cream made with coconut milk, heavy cream and vanilla. The class was a great Valentine's present. Chef Diane was very hospitable and accommodating to all food allergies. Our meal turned out delicious, while being created with great company and a great view of Boise.
