Cooking Class: Kid's Favorite Desserts Made Allergy Free
Chef Lisa will teach kids how to make three epic desserts that are gluten-, dairy-, soy- and nut-free in this cooking class!
First, kids will transform sweet summer fruits, like mango, strawberries, peaches and watermelon into refreshing sorbets. Next, whip up decadent chocolate bites with cocoa powder, dates and coconut flakes for the perfect bite-sized sweet. Finally, make a variety of no-bake macaroons with apricot jam, chocolate and coconut flakes. Chef Lisa pursued her deep-seated passion for food, cooking and nutrition by studying human foods and nutrition in college. With years of experience as an executive pastry chef at various resorts and hotels, and as a healthy eating specialist for a renowned grocery chain, she eventually launched her own culinary business. In her new venture, she guides individuals in exploring and discovering new foods, helping them improve their lives through better nutrition.
