Begin the class by making a classic gnocchi dough with potatoes, flour and egg. Chef Elham will teach you how to knead the dough and shape it into perfect little dumplings. You'll also make a sweet potato gnocchi using the same techniques. As the gnocchi boils, whip up an earthy pesto sauce with aromatic basil, crunchy pine nuts and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese to pair with the classic gnocchi. We had fun and learned some helpful tips for making chocolate desserts. My sisters and I think that there should be a maximum of 4 students in a class because the kitchen is small.

For the past two decades, Chef Elham has been sharing her passion for cooking with others as a private chef, caterer and culinary instructor. Most recently, Chef Elham has served as the culinary program director of America's largest hands-on cooking class program as well as a culinary instructor at one of Google's largest campuses. Her specialties include classic French cuisine as well as exotic Asian fare that entices and energizes the palate.
