Begin by making a palate cleanser of seasonal fruit and burrata salad incorporating fresh basil and crumbles pistachios. Next, break out the flour and craft a homemade dough from scratch before whipping out the cast iron to make a crispy pizza with your choice of toppings. Finally, assemble a desert of lavender basil ice cream with a fried basil garnish.

The cooking class with Chef Jarrett was an incredible experience! He’s very friendly and does a great job of teaching you multiple new techniques and keeping you involved throughout the process. The food was delicious!!! The portions were generous and there was still more than enough to have leftovers. He took care of all of the clean up…our kitchen was probably cleaner after he left than when he arrived. We would whole heartedly recommend Chef Jarrett!

Jarrett is a super knowledgeable chef. He showed me how to cut an onion to demonstrate some knife skills. Explained how you can use any different sort of fish or seafood for ceviche, and the background of where the dish came from and how the acid in the citrus fruit denatures the fish and takes away the intense fishy flavour. Really friendly and funny, kept us engaged in the class!
