Cooking Class: Dumplings for Vegetarian Diners

Meat-eaters don't get to have all the dumpling fun, as this interactive cooking class dedicated to vegetarian dumplings demonstrates. Chef Edmund has an exciting lesson to share with plant-based diners who love authentic Asian delights! You'll use fresh ingredients to create a tender dumpling dough before filling it with a hearty blend of greens, mushrooms and tofu. Learn to assemble your own customized dumpling sauce to make them even more delicious. You'll also prepare tofu braised in a wine and soy sauce, cook  fresh greens to enjoy as a side and discover tang yuan, a dessert that uses rice flour and red beans.

With organic tofu, organic mushrooms, organic spinach, Japanese sesame oil, ginger and gluten-free soy sauce


Make-Your-Own Dumpling Sauce

With chili oil, black vinegar, sesame oil and premium black bean soy sauce


Braised Organic Tofu in Soy Sauce

With carrots, premium black bean soy sauce and shaoxing cooking wine


Baby Yu Choy

With ginger and premium black bean soy sauce


Tang Yuan

With gluten-free rice flour and organic red beans

Chef Eddie has a really well polished class - very interactive and funny! Explained a lot of different principles and demonstrated the technique for filling, pleating and cooking the dumpling. Made our own sauces using a selection of different flavours.
