Fantastic experience! Have done a number of these and this was the best. You genuinely learn how to cook the menu items from scratch. Chef Roger is a great teacher too.

Another great class by the outstanding Chef Roger! We made fabulous food! We made both chicken and cheese ravioli, marinara sauce, smoked gouda sundried tomato mushroom sauce and a kale salad with warm bacon dressing.

Chef Roger did an excellent job teaching us how to make Gnocchi and Beef Ragot along with an Artichoke Salad with Parmesan Crips. It all tasted wonderful!

So happy to find out that Chef Roger is teaching classes for the public again!
I’m a long-time fan from pre-COVID days. His classes are fun, practical and hands-on. He will teach you the recipes but also give recommendations on products & ingredients from his long experience as a professional chef.
You will come away from the class with some good recipes along with a hefty serving of cooking knowledge.

Yes, there are plenty of “Master Chefs” around, but Chef Roger stands above the other Master Chefs. Why? He shows respect and joy to his craft and to his students. Learned how to make homemade flatbread, pasta, pesto, marinara, and chicken with mushrooms. Chef Roger is a great teacher. He covers lots of tips and techniques in addition to the recipes.

So glad to have Chef Roger teaching cooking classes again! I had taken his continuing education classes at Rice University for about 5 years. Now, he’s back & teaching on a bi-weekly basis. Chef loves to focus his classes on teaching techniques and I learn something new every time. An outstanding chef with a great teaching approach , he loves to teach and it shows. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Chef Roger is a very talented chef, whose vegetarian friendly cuisine I have always found quite delicious. In particular, I've quite enjoyed his takes on eggplant parmesan and curry style butter tofu. I've eaten at his restaurant multiple times.
