Had a great time learning about the different types of sushi rolls! Chef Shedric did a great job of walking us through the process so that we actually are able to take the skills home and recreate sushi rolls. Would go again for another class!

Chef Shedric was a great instructor!
Class location was not great… the venue was extremely loud. We had a table close to the chef and it was still difficult to hear him. We were informed Classpop chooses the location .. not the chef.
Chef Shedric was enjoyable and very helpful in the class

My wife and I were looking for a night to ourselves doing something she would enjoy. I knew she always wanted to take cooking classes, so I booked this class. It was exactly what we needed. Chef Shedric was amazing. He was patient, kind, knowledgeable, skilled, and very down-to-earth. We enjoyed the small class setting. We will definitely do this again!

This was a great experience. Chef Shedric was very knowledgeable and friendly and it was so fun meeting and working with the other guests during class. The final meal was delicious and definitely something that could be made again in the future.

Chef Shedric was professional, knowledgeable and welcoming.
However the event would have been more enjoyable if the music was turned down or off. The loud atmosphere inhibited patrons from connecting and conversing. The tables were crowded which made for an obstacle course to move around to get paper towels, sauces, etc.

Chef Shedric was great! Full of energy, attentive, informative and kind. I had a great time learning his techniques and putting them to practice. I took home enough sushi for three days!

My wife and I had a great time learning how to make sushi rolls together. Chef Shedric went through the steps making it easily understood and then let us work at our own pace. We were able to make a few different rolls and he was there to answer any questions we had along the way. We would definitely take another class from Chef Shedric in the future.

Loved every aspect of the class except
- the size of the Room which probably wasn’t his choice . 14 ppl so we had to split up the tasks with others so we could share the supplies and ingredients. So no one person could actually try each task.
- real utensils would have been nice.. A plastic fork to mix pasta dough is not ideal. They broke. Paper plates were ok.
- he mixed his dough in a bowl that we couldn’t see so he had to walk around the room to show us.
-it was dark so hard to read the tiny sauce recipe
So not a true hands- on class we had to share everything and squeeze in to a small space with ppl we didn’t know.

This was my husband and I’s first time taking a class through ClassPop and it was not what we expected. We’ve taken a cooking class through a different company before, so this was not our first experience doing something like this. We were expecting the class to be a step-by-step process where the chef shows you how to do something and then you try on your own. This class is more of a demo and then you try haha
Chef Shedric was great, you could tell that he had a lot of experience under his belt. However, as previous reviews have stated, these class sizes are way too big. We had 22 people in our class (15 being a company team) and then 7 additional people. It was way too big and wild to think that they allow up to 25 people per class! The brewery room that we were in was not big enough to accommodate that many people. The tables got easily crowded with all the prep work and the tables that the burners were on for cooking for too close together so it was hard to move around when other groups are also trying to cook. While the Chef is walking around helping and answering questions, it felt very chaotic and stressful trying to cook in that type of environment.
I also think that it would be beneficial for each booking group to having their own set of food/materials needed instead of having to split a tray with 4 other strangers that you don’t know. Teamwork is great, but trying to delegate cooking a meal that you’ve never made before takes away from the overall experience if you’re not able to prep each part of the process.
Our food turned out good but I think there is room for improvement to make this class better.

Chef Shedric was so knowledgeable and fun! He’s a wonderful instructor. He was so helpful and informative. We had a great time with him leading our group, and we’d be happy to take a class with him ANYTIME! However, we have some feedback about the class structure itself.
We felt that there were too many people for the class to feel organized and productive. There was really only room for eight or so people to make pasta at once, even though the class had sixteen people. We actually didn’t even get to make pasta — we were squeezed out and ended up with dough that had already been made for demonstration.
Boxes of ingredients were meant to be shared with four people, but it wasn’t made clear how we were supposed to divide up work with other people in the class. There were only four sauce stations and two pasta water stations — again, not enough for a class this large.
Overall, this class has a ton of potential and Chef Shedric did the absolute best job he could have with such a large group! We think the class would shine even more in a more intimate setting.

I truly recommend this class with Chef Shedric! Very knowledgeable and the 2 hour class flew by, the group was very interactive he was funny even went to grab soy sauce! I feel like a sushi apprentice now!!! What a great Mother’s Day for my wife she truly enjoyed this class!!! Thank you for the memories!!!

A few reasons for our Team Building rating for Pasta class. 1. We really didn’t know if Chef had washed his hands for the demonstration of making the pasta. 2. Some of the items we purchased as cheaper products-veggies, etc. 3. Some of the burners didn’t work properly. 4. We had paper plates & plastic silverware but no napkins? 5. The setting is too small to have this type of class in a brewery.
We paid for a class of 10 but we only had 8 in total. So no tip should be required. Tip is you received $ with the 2 no shows.

Chef Shedric was absolutely incredible! He did a great job slowing down the process, walking you through each piece, providing many tips/tricks with secrets of the trade, along with making it FUNNY, CULTURED, and FUN!

Chef Shedric did a fantastic job of explaining all of the steps necessary for making this an awesome experience. As well as being very attentive to the members in the class to see who can be a bit more advanced and can potentially use less time to understand the basics. He also does a great job of seeing the people that are struggling and giving them more attention.

Highly recommend this class. Chef was prepared & he supplied everything imaginable. He was encouraging & gave individual guidance as we tried to make our individual rolls. We can’t wait to try our new skills at home!

The Chef was very nice. However, the class seemed a bit disorganized and lacked structure. Also, the cooking equipments available were inadequate and not sufficient for a class of 13 individuals. I also felt like we were not really getting too much guidance and help from the chef during the class. As most of us were struggling to figure things out.

Chef Shedric provided us a great experience. He has great intuition for cooking steps and helps students if they are lost. His cooking class is adjacent to a bar so if you're looking for a good time during or after - you found your class!
