Instructors Deb and Liz are teaming up for a cheerful, hands-on Mother's Day candle making class that welcomes all skill levels. Choose your wax, wick and container, then blend fragrance oils to build a personalized scent perfect for gifting to Mom or treating yourself.
Instructors Deb and Liz will walk you through melting and pouring with the right temperature control for a polished finish. While your candle cures, mingle with fellow guests, ask questions and explore the pre-made candles. You'll go home with a handcrafted candle and the know-how to make more at home!
Every candle making class is hosted in a fun local venue, from cozy wineries to lively breweries, distilleries or bars. The location changes by date, and you can see the exact spot when choosing your session.

Unfortunately it was nothing like what I expected nor what I wanted. I decided to wait on writing the review because I wanted to see if my candle would at least be good quality, it is not! Never turns on and it was a complete mess when it came to taking the class. I don’t recommend.
With over 25 years of combined teaching experience, Instructors Liz and Deb are most at home when leading creative workshops and building community in a playful and inclusive way. Armed with an M.A. in Archaeology and Ancient History, Instructor Liz brings hands-on magical crafting experience to her teaching honed from years of running a Victorian-themed apothecary and magic retail shop. Instructor Deb holds an M.A. in Social Work that complements Instructor Liz's expertise by creating an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance where everyone feels seen and heard.
