Explore homemade Afghan cuisine in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Giselle.
You’ll kick things off with a cozy vegetable soup filled with tomatoes, peppers, carrots and spinach, finished with fresh herbs. Then, you’ll learn how to make Afghan mantu dumplings by seasoning minced beef with onions, folding it into wonton wrappers and steaming them until tender. The dumplings are served with a creamy garlic yogurt sauce and a warm yellow lentil topping that brings everything together. On the side, you’ll toss a refreshing pomegranate salad with cucumber, red onion and mint. And for dessert, you’ll finish with flaky baklava layered with phyllo, pistachios and syrup. Come hungry, cook along and leave with new skills you’ll actually want to use at home.

The class exceeded our expectations & I have to say it was all because of chef Giselle. My girlfriend & I really appreciated her enthusiasm & expertise throughout the class, making sure we felt comfortable from the start! Definitely plan on booking another one of chef Giselle’s classes!
