Fashion journalism | Vegan advocacy | Email marketing | Holistic wellness |
Anelisa Nokoyo began her career as a fashion features writer for online magazine cptstreetmag.com, covering Cape Town Fashion Week, new brand launches and interviews with designers. Her love for plant-based living led her to write for the South African Vegan Society’s newsletter.
She then moved on to CodeCrew, an email marketing agency that helps accelerate growth for fledgling start-ups. Here, Anelisa shaped strategy and copy for food‑and‑beverage, outdoor lifestyle, fashion and CBD clients, guiding their growth from launch to scale. She then joined Entail AI as an editor, where she edited long-form articles for various B2B and B2C brands.
Her independent work includes brand management and social media management for Philani Natural Health, an osteopathy practice and Gut Body Mind, a wellness brand — projects that draw on her diploma in organic skincare and two years of Psychology and Ethics study at the University of the Western Cape. While at the university, she also co‑founded the Young Designers and Film Society, giving students a space to explore art and film. Her passions include travel, architecture, fashion and gardening. Beyond her work, she’s passionate about travel, architecture, fashion and gardening.
