Chef Stephanie will demonstrate how to prepare a four-course meal of innovative French-Japanese fare beginning with an appetizer of grilled satay shrimp skewers. Next, you will stir-fry sweet and sour chicken with a tamarind glaze and serve alongside a light and refreshing cucumber salad infused with fragrant lemongrass. Finally, indulge in a delicate French custard-based dessert: Baked star anise pot de crème.

Chef Stephanie received extensive culinary training in France before finding her niche as an instructor at the Art Institute, where she taught culinary arts for eight years. She focuses on kitchen fundamentals that emphasize technique as well as fostering confidence and creativity by exploring an array of ingredients and flavors that are both traditional and exotic. Chef Stephanie’s classes promise to be fun, exciting and memorable for her students.
