Cooking Class: Classic European Cakes

Learn the art of cake baking in this interactive and informative cooking class with Chef Rose. She will teach you the time-tested techniques for baking two European cakes from scratch using high-quality ingredients. First, you'll make a vanilla bean butter cake finished with Swiss buttercream and filled with a scratch-made lemon curd. Then, you'll make a traditional German black forest cake with decadent chocolate, tart cherries and whipped cream. Not only will you learn new baking techniques in this class, but you'll also learn how to build flavors through frostings and fillings.
