Take your taste buds on a culinary journey to Japan in this fun and unique cooking class that's all about authentic Japanese brunch. Chef Melissa will teach you four different recipes filled with fresh ingredients and traditional Japanese flavors.
Start this brunch by preparing a miso scone and yuzu jam with flour and vanilla chantilly cream. Then, prepare a tuna salad Japanese milk bread sushi roll with fresh herbs, nori, avocado and corn. Next, cook a delicious handcrafted ham and cheese Japanese milk bread sushi roll with nori and cucumber. End on a sweet note by learning how to prepare tasty matcha crepes with a fresh fruit salad.

Chef Melissa provided an experience that was quite unique. A mixture of culinary, conversations, philosophy and of course fun. She made us fell welcome and felt more like a dinner party with friends, even though we were all complete strangers before hand. Highly recommend.

My partner and I did this class as an anniversary celebration and it was perfect! The food we cooked was delicious and Melissa was an incredible host. We had a great time and shared lots of laughs and great conversation. I would recommend this class to anyone interested in Japanese food

Chef Melissa uses cooking to bring food enthusiasts together, and to celebrate cultures and curiosities. After spending her youth in her home country of Taiwan, she worked as a food writer and spent dozens of years in Boston honing her craft alongside renowned chefs. Part story-teller, part educator, and part food and wine lover, Chef Melissa blends her Asian roots, her world travels and her love of food and culture to bring joy and inspiration to people everywhere.
