In this hands-on cooking class, you’ll explore authentic French cuisine: a heavenly marriage of culture, tradition and sophistication. Under the guidance of Chef Laurianne, you’ll create rich, complex flavors using classic techniques and hand-picked ingredients. To begin the meal, you’ll craft a fresh and refreshing spinach salad, topped with Roquefort cheese and juicy pears. For the main course, you’ll prepare a French classic — coq au vin — a deeply-flavored chicken stew, served with a side of mashed potatoes. To finish the meal, Chef Laurianne will teach you how to make an indulgent, sweet and flaky apple tart.

Chef Laurianne is awesome and really fun to work with. It's obvious that she has a lot of experience teaching classes and her space is perfect for a group. She has a bunch of great techniques up her sleeve that will definitely help anyone who takes her classes translate skills to their own cooking. Highly recommend it!
Having spent more than 30 years working in the food industry, Chef Laurianne knows her way around a kitchen. After being employed as a freelance chef for catering companies, she opened her own successful catering business that she operated for almost 20 years. Her experience in catering has given her the knowledge to master a vast repertoire of cuisines, and helped refine her cooking techniques—all of which she is eager to share with guests.
