Chef Catherine delivers expert advice and traditional techniques in this cooking class featuring classic French dishes. Using time-honored recipes, you'll start with a mille-feuille layered with beets and goat cheese. Next up is hachis parmentier, a classic French casserole prepared with layers of ground beef, potatoes and cheese. Ratatouille, laid out in colorful rows of zucchini, tomatoes, eggplant and peppers, is next on the menu. A sweet lemon meringue tart ends this savory meal.

Chef Catherine uses her French heritage and finesse to create a light but filling menu. She said during her class that her sons only eat her cooking, and I can see why. I'd like to have her as my mom cooking for me all the time as well.
