This is a perfect class for a true beginner. The instructor, Sepia, is patient and knowledgeable. He managed to meet everyone's needs with grace and consideration. I would welcome a part 2 to this introductory class.

I cannot say enough good things about this class - it exceeded by expectations in every way. Mindy is an amazingly knowledgeable & personal instructor who breaks things down in a "real life" way to help students learn the fundamentals about photography without overwhelming you with technical information. I now have such a better understanding of my DSLR camera's functionality and can't wait to explore & practice more! The small class size combined with a casual setting provided the ideal environment to allow me to feel comfortable asking questions and get the most out of the 3 hours. I am already thinking about the next class I can take with her. Thank you, Mindy!!

I really needed to grasp the basics of shooting manually with an SLR. Mindy is a great instructor and broke down the main concepts and settings for the camera. It can be daunting moving away from Auto Focus, but she made everything easy to understand and I was able to practice on my own after the class.
