This hands-on cooking class with renowned Chef Polly spotlights fresh and fermented ingredients to build a menu full of flavor. Learn all there is to love about the sweet, savory, spicy and umami flavors of Korean cuisine. First, you will pair a mung bean pancake dish with a rich soy dipping sauce. Next, learn how to assemble a seaweed soup with kelp and seafood broth to serve alongside stemmed purple rice with barley and quinoa. For the main dish, you’ll prepare potato starch noodles to make jap che, a traditional Korean stir fry.

With split yellow mung beans, kimchi, sprouts, green onions and soy dipping sauce
Seaweed Soup (Mi Yuk Gook)
With kelp, seafood broth and garlic
Steamed Purple Rice
With brown rice, white rice, sweet wild rice, barley and quinoa
Starch Noodle Stir fry (Jap Che)
With potato starch noodles, spinach, mushrooms, eggs and sweet soy dressing
