Cooking classes on Classpop! are designed to be fun, social events. Feel free to purchase wine or beer at the venue to enjoy during the class.

Ben made me and my mom a lovely roast chicken dinner. He served it with a great brown butter jus, roast potatoes, and maple glazed carrots. The whole meal was amazing. Chicken was super juicy and tender.

Chef Ben is a Red Seal–certified chef with eight years of kitchen experience and a passion for helping students level up fast. Trained at SAIT Polytechnic in Calgary, he worked his way from dishwasher to line cook before completing his apprenticeship and earning his Red Seal certification. He’s spent the last three years working in Michelin-starred restaurants across multiple countries, sharpening his technique, speed and precision in high-pressure services. With experience training new team members, Chef Ben brings a clear, practical teaching style that helps his students cook with confidence.
