In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Alex, you'll learn how to make vegan versions of several classic, colorful Southeast Asian dishes. Chef Alex will provide an insightful lesson, providing you with cultural knowledge and valuable vegan cooking techniques.
First, learn to fry crispy tofu to stuff inside vegetable baby spring rolls that you'll enjoy with a variety of zesty Vietnamese dipping sauces. Then, sharpen your knife skills to chop fresh, sweet papaya for a green papaya salad with chili dressing. For the main dish, Chef Alex will teach you how to make crispy curry cashew-crusted tofu on a bed of creamy curry-coconut risotto. Wrap up the meal with a batch of vegan ice cream in refreshing flavors like pistachio and coconut.

Chef Alex is fantastic! He has extensive high-end catering experience and has cooked for some of the most prominent people in the region. We were so impressed with him and we had a lovely time. I highly recommend him to anyone in the Seattle area looking for a wonderful culinary experience!
Chef Alex's passion for cooking was inspired by helping his German oma in the kitchen. Years after creating goulash and spaetzle by her side, he became a classically trained chef. His career with the best catering companies in Washington has seen him serving Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates, among others. Through 10 years spent in high-end Seattle catering, Chef Alex has developed a love of teaching and sharing his experiences.
