In this hands-on cooking class, you’ll create a four-course Indian spread using authentic ingredients, spices and techniques, and learn the history of each dish. Chef Avi will teach you the basic kitchen skills — and professional techniques — needed to cook mouthwatering Indian cuisine. You’ll begin by preparing a red lentil soup infused with bay leaves and cilantro. You’ll then make onion dumplings with chickpea flour, spinach and red lentils. For the entree, Chef Avi will teach you how to make a classic and delicious chicken tikka masala. To cap the meal, you’ll craft a divine mango rice pudding.
